To fully understand the history of queer activism in California, archival documents and collections from across the United States are examined. If you are aware of any archival collections that might be relevant to the project, please let us know!
Additionally, in order to preserve the history of queer activism in the Golden State, we preserve material not currently found in archives. If you are interested in donating material to the project, please get in touch.
UCI LGBTRC History and Archiving Project
We are currently working with the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Transgender Resource Center (LGBTRC) at the University of California, Irvine to archive and document their 30+ year history.
